y mother Sofia Garrievna was born in 1941 on Sakhalin. She spent most
her childhood in bomb-proof shelter in Moscow during Germans air strikes with her mother Vera Ivanovna while her father struggled with Nazi.
After finishing the school she graduated in Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI) on the rocket faculty and became a major of aviation. There, in Moscow Sofia meet Vitaly (my sister's father) and they got married. After severul years after Karina was born, they leave each other and Vitaly went to Sakhalin and my mother meet Alexandr.
Not long before my sister was born my mother came to Minsk to work in Belarussian Academy of Science under wing rocket project. She introduced me the wold of aviation and really want me to become an aircraft developer. My mother took me to many museum and other places connecting aviation. Now, when I remember those times I think that the only reason for me not to become an aircraft engineer is that there was no an air University or Institute in Minsk.
I developed a lot of air controlled model planes but all of them were still on the paper. My first and the only constructed model 70 cm wingspan burned during it first flight straight in the air because of the fuel system failure.
My mother and father often went on fathers car to Crimea (near 2000 km) for vacation. They went to Yalta with my sister and then with me (when I was a child). After fathers death I took mom from Academy to Dainova Co. were she worked now in accounting.
In 1999 11-th of march my mom became a grand mother thanks to my sister.
Right now she is retired and a lot of free time allows her to do what she really whould like - start painting. Not ordinary painting but floristics. And after a year she already has quite a big floristics gallery/collection of works which she presents to friends.
